The Fenugreek is a semiarid crop cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health advantages. The scientific name of Fenugreek is Trigonella foenum-graecum.  It belongs to the Fabaceae family. It is believed that this annual plant is native to India and southern Europe, but now it is also cultivated widely all over the world for domestic and commercial purpose.
